OpenRSi firmware for AZBox Elite/Premium(+)/Ultra
The first OpenRSi image for AZBox HD Elite, Premium(+) and Ultra models are available.

Keep in mind that the image comes without a kernel.
If you need to install the kernel as well if you did not do that already.
You do not need the kernel if you already used previous E2 images.

Welcome to the next generation of AZBox firmware: OpenRSi.

Since 2010, there has been a lot of development to offer AZBox HD user an alternative firmware. One of the initiatives came from a team called RTi Team.

The team started with the Modified Official Firmware for the AZBox HD models, an improved version of the official OpenSat firmware.

As the firmware of the RTi team became more mature, the group of enthousiasts took the initiative to build an image, mainly for the Dutch and German market.
Those images are known as RSi E2 0.x

As E2 became more populair among AZBox users, RSi took the initiative to build an image, based on the well known OpenPLi community project.

Today, we are on the virtue of releasing our first OpenPLi based images for all AZBox receivers:
AZBox Elite HD, AZBox Premium HD, AZBox Premium HD+, AZBox Ultra HD, AZBox ME and AZBox miniME.

Firmware and Kernel
We would like to point out that we have decided to separate the actual firmware from the E2 kernel. This is why you will find images, as well as kernel files on our downloadpage.

We would like to explicitly thank the RTi Team for there RTi Core development and the OpenPLi team for there community project. Both, as we believe, focused on developing software for open source linux DVB receivers.

Hi RSi friends,

After the Azbox HD MOF version and the RSI E2 images it's time for the next step. The next step is OpenRSI. OpenRSI is OpenPLI for azbox.

OpenRSI is nightly build firmware. This means sometimes there's no difference between versions and even sometimes a nightly build may not work.

Go to the openRSI download area by clicking on the OpenRSI button in the above "button bar" or in the left Navigation menu.

This started out with the Modified Official Firmware for the AZBox HD models.

The team never thought that the image would be that popular, but since it was, they got motivated to start developing the next images. This time it was an image, based in the RTi E2 Core. The image is known as RSi E2 0.0x

As popularity grew, software developpers addressed the team, asking if they could be part of this great initiative.

Since then, RSi Team has expanded and has put its energy in building an image, based on the well known OpenPLi images.

With this development, OpenRSi hopes to have given the community a platform on which it can build images, based on a stable and powerful source.

All this would not be possible if the AZBox community would not have the input and knowledge of members of the RTi team. Let's not forget that this team, and especially The_ripper and Telesat, made E2 available for AZBox.

Also, if OpenPLi did not do such a good job in building software for open source linux receivers, we would not be where we are today.

Ядро ведь старое, которое с проблемой в первую очередь с эму.

А так скинов напихать большого ума не нужно.

Хотел поставить эту версию Энигмы (до этого не имел опыта) а что у неё за проблеммы с эму. С мгкамд сильные проблеммы?

У меня прошивка RTi 1.7.0. Никаких проблем с mgcamd не наблюдается.

Во текстов-то наплодили! Да и прошивок этих тьма тьмущая. Лучше бы сначала RTi добили, потом уже расползались :/

Что то дайсек немогу с ним подружить от Бест 1/10 не находит каналов! И поиск идёт долго, где то не так выставил наверно, а где у энигмы настройки WI-Fi в упор невижу!

не у тебя одного каналы не сканируются
загнал свои ностройки каналы есть сигнала нет буду ставить другой кернель
пробовал скины от пли ставятся

Уважаемые Энигмаводы, , а IP каналы уже работают? сижу на последней бэте, только из-за IPchannel (мой провайдер вещает по сети больше 100 каналов, которых у меня нет на 36 градусе)... Да, и ещё важна работа Wi-Fi. Заранее спасибо

А что в Энигме есть какая-то привязка к IP каналам?
Это же всегда отдельным плагином устанавливалось как на любой Энигме для любово ресивера.

А что в Энигме есть какая-то привязка к IP каналам?
Это же всегда отдельным плагином устанавливалось как на любой Энигме для любово ресивера.
Слышал отзывы, что не работает плаг с IP channe, вот и интересуюсь.

ну вот у меня вечный бутинг т.к собрал кривую прошивку из rsi от 13 числа из имиджа и кернеля выложенным на их сайте
буду читать форум и лечить ребут
у кого есть дельные мысли как избавится от ребута делитесь
