Could you give me the specification of hardware JPEG decoding with SMP8634?
Here is the information for Hardware JPEG decoding:
Maximum JPEG size is 4096x4096
What is supported:
* Baseline:
All Baseline requirements are supported except JPEG pictures with four components.
* Extended DCT based:
SMP8634 does not support progressive JPEG.
However SMP8634 can manage extended DCT based if:
o pixels are 8 bits (9, 10 bits are not supported).
o Huffman coding is used (Arithmetic coding is not supported).
o there are at most 2 DC and 2 AC Huffman tables (You could have 4 and 4, which are not supported)
o 1 or 3 components present in the stream. (RGB Alpha, YUV alpha are not supported).
o pixel successive approximation is not used (when progressive JPEG)
* Hierarchical: Not supported
* Lossless: Not supported.
